Why I love Chicago...

"I remember the thrill of seeing the skyline coming into view as we approached the downtown on the freshly built Dan Ryan Expressway.   Later, on the North Side, my high school was situated near the lake; oh what emotions of steel-blue storminess, bright turquoise joy, and meditative midnight blue waters.   Classes at the Art Institute, sculpture in the parks, dazzling architecture and the charming citizens of Chicago;  I have always returned."
