Why I love Chicago...

"I have come to realize that what makes Chicago memorable is the small business. Whether it's serving food and spirits, entertainment, clothing or art, it is the small business whose owner takes pride in the neighborhood
and creates a unique experience for the customer.   When several small businesses emerge within a neighborhood, they create a synergy that propels that area into a major scene which fun-loving people want to be part of.    What's amazing about Chicago is that we have so many epicenters of entrepreneurship -- River North, Pilsen, Wicker Park/Bucktown, Clybourn Corridor, Wrigleyville and Chinatown, to name just a few. Where in Chicago will the next one spring up?"
