Why I love Chicago...

"Yeah, I like New York and Philly and San Fran, but...

I love Chicago ... for the food.   Everybody got off the boat here and opened a restaurant.   I love Chicago, for its beast of a Lake that slurps at its lovely necklace of Lake Shore Drive.   I love Chicago for the el, another beast that roars in the night and carries us on its back throughout the city.    I love Chicago for the Lower Wacker Drive, that darting, shadowed bat cave-like place.   I love Chicago for the constant building and reshaping that takes place.   I love Chicago for its constantly changing weather, from brutal to idyllic.  I love Chicago for its world class cultural scene.   I love Chicago because of its energy.   It's the bomb."
