Why I love Chicago...

"Chicago has always been an important influence in my life as an artist.    Growing up in the city, I found that it allowed me to appreciate the diversity of various cultures and uniqueness of individuals and humanity as a whole.   I have often proliferated this interest and appreciation into my work.    One of the aspects of the city of Chicago I admire is the welcoming spirit of the people who live here.    Whether you are a native of the city or a visitor, there is a sense of warmth that is inviting.    People say that Chicago is a beautiful city, and while I can see visually that it is, the beauty lies in the people who live here."
