Betty's image at left is in response to Itala Langmar's (see Art Walk 07 artists) painting.     Her collaborative art process is defined as Responsive Art: a process in which two artists observe and interpret the other's work, and then respond with a new piece of their own.

Betty received a BA in Design from the University of Illinois Chicago and also studied at Cooper Union College of Art in NYC.   She has exhibited her work at the Aurora Public Arts Commission, ARC Gallery, Noyes Cultural Arts Center, Prairie State College, and Union Street Gallery to list just a few.
