Janice studied at the University of Michigan and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  She works in a variety of media: paintings, drawings, prints, collage, encaustic, giclee and photos.  She says her work deals with the light and dark side of the urban scene: life, death, decay, transformation and redemption. These works are rendered with an intense energy, which reflects the artists strong passion for life.
