Watch Chicago area artists and plein air painters paint on the grounds at Emily Oaks Nature Center

All ages welcome!   

First 25 visitors to the event will receive a small canvas and a variety of art supplies to start their own plein air experience!

BYOB:  Bring Your Own Paint Brush!

Artists can register for the plein air event by email:


Emily Oaks Regular Hours Of Operation:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Sunday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
The nature center gates close at sunset everyday.
Fees: No fee to walk the trails
