Why I love Chicago...

"I moved to Chicago twelve years ago with a U-haul full of junk and art supplies, with absolutely no job, apartment, or prospects for either.    Within a week I somehow stumbled into a fantastic apartment on the north side, where I still reside to this day.   I found an art-related job and more friends than I could have imagined within a month.   Despite a few pitfalls here and there, the positive trend has continued for me in Chicago over the years - much more than any of the other cities I have previously called my home.   To me, Chicago is full of positive energy, good luck, friends, and opportunity, and I have no plans on leaving any time soon."
